As my review page, I hereby promise you (my followers) that I will never have spoilers in my reviews. I merely give my opinion on what I thought about the book and give you my advice on whether or not you should read it. So here it goes:

The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin

So I understand that I am one of the lucky few who has gotten the ARC of this book. LUCKY ME! Here's my review:
 

I laughed, I cried, and I feel she absolutely nailed it....until the last 50 pages. You'll easily fall in love with Noah and get gripped into the relationship between him and Mara, but Mara's neurotic behaviors will have you ripping your hair out towards the end. The intensity of the story will have you flipping through the first three-quarters of the book in just a few hours, but towards the end you will start to wonder where the author is taking you and wondering why she's even taking you ther...more

The intensity of the story will have you flipping through the first three-quarters of the book in just a few hours, but towards the end you will start to wonder where the author is taking you and wondering why she's even taking you there. I felt that the ending was a bit rushed which is a real shame because it started out as my best read of the year so far. I'm hoping she can tie in all the loose ends in the next book providing more of a foundation for what the series will be about.
Although it wasn't perfect, I'm giving it 5 stars because any book that I can finnish in 4 hours is worth a good score :)

To Read or Not to Read
Re-reading my review, it sounds a bit negative to me. But when I wrote this I think I was just upset about how the flow of the book was changing towards the end. But seriously, you gotta read it!
